I founded IntelliPsych in 2025 after spending 25+ years in the public mental health outpatient clinic settings, observing what works, and what doesn't, in the provision of mental healthcare.  Three tenets guide the practice: 

1. Medication, though critically helpful, is not the only element necessary for wellness. We  work to make sure you're caring for your physical, spiritual, and social wellbeing, too!

2. Not every emotion requires a medication.  Our thoughts, feelings and emotions can all be powerful teachers in the work of developing new insights, tools, and perspectives. We will work with you to help discern the degree to which your wellbeing requires medication, 

psychotherapy, patient teaching or as is often the case, all three.

3. All meaningful care starts with connection. Without a respectful, mindful connection between the patient and provider,  provision of collaborative healthcare is limited at best and transformative healthcare is even less likely.
